RESONANCE I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned I'm from the South. I’ve been away for 5 years traveling the west coast and headed back to the east coast at the end of 2012. As I crossed the Mississippi River, I felt like I had come home. It’s amazing how the body remembers the vibrations of a place and either harmonizes with it or doesn’t. Colors of regions are different too. Keeping in mind that color is vibration, the green of the South is different from the green of the Pacific Northwest. Here in the south, it is rolling hills covered with conifer and deciduous trees and curtains of Spanish moss. All manner of slithering things reside within and there is a mix of light and dark energies which speak to its powerful magic. On the other hand the Pacific Northwest is filled with primal forest and a lingering resonance of things ancient and a power no less than the South. This area really spoke to my being, as every cell resonated to its ancient song. How does the area you reside resonate with you? You say, “What an odd question”. However, it is an important one. Most humans have lost their ability to connect with their environment and are so disconnected that they are missing out on an unending source of renewal to their being, as well as Mother Earth’s subtle communications with us.
